Tony started his own repair business two years ago and has worked from Denton, TX and Boston, MA. In addition to running TB Winds, he also teaches a woodwind instrument repair course at The University of North Texas (UNT) to undergraduate and graduate students.

Before moving back to Denton, Tony worked as a saxophone repair specialist at Meridian Winds in East Lansing, Michigan, where he had the opportunity to work for the faculty and students from the saxophone studios of Michigan State University and the University of Michigan, including Tim McAllister.


Although many TB Winds customers are located in the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex, several customers travel from neighboring cities and states to work with Tony. Customers also have the option to ship instruments to TB Winds for repair.

Tony currently performs in Denton nurisng homes through Texas Winds Musical Outreach and subs with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra.

Tony received a Bachelor of Music Education from Northern Michigan University, and a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of North Texas. 


Jen Guzman
manager + co-owner

Clarinetist Jen Guzmán's mission is to guide and support others to discover their self-worth so that they are empowered to positively change the world through deliberate action.
 
As a recipient of the competitive Robert B. Toulouse Fellowship at the University of North Texas, Jen is working towards a doctor of musical arts degree in clarinet performance while working at Southeastern Oklahoma State University as an Adjunct Clarinet Instructor. 


She works as the music entrepreneurship teaching fellow and teaches undergraduates how to create arts-related businesses and how to develop professional portfolios. Billboard magazine recently named UNT's College of Music as one of the top 15 music business schools in the country.

Jen works remotely for the Perlman Music Program as a Development Assistant, and is also the newly appointed Denton Program Director for Texas Winds Musical Outreach, a non-profit that engages, comforts and celebrates the spirits of isolated seniors, hospital patients, veterans and children in North Texas through live, professional musical performances.


Jen received bachelor of music education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and a master of music in clarinet performance from UNT.
